Daywise Tour Itinerary (03 Days)

After arriving at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted and welcomed by our agent’s representative and will escort you to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Paro to Thimphu is approximately 1-hour journey by road. The journey to Thimphu offers the picturesque views of the surrounding landscape and some of the historical monuments. One such monument being TamchogGonpa. It is a temple that is dedicated to the 13th-century saint ThangthongGyalpo, iron bridge builder. This temple is located across the river from Paro to Thimphu. In order to get to the temple, one must cross an iron chain bridge, one of the few remaining of the many that ThangthongGyalpo built. As you reach to Thimphu, our representative will escort you to your hotel, check-in, and refresh.

Now, we will set out for first sightseeing at National Memorial Chorten which was built in the memory of Third King of Bhutan and it’s dedicated to World Peace. Buddha Dordenma which is a gigantic Buddha statue in the mountains of Bhutan.

After the happening day, spend the rest of the time at leisure. Go out and stroll on the streets with the option to shop at Norzin Lam Craft Stalls, It's the single best place in Thimphu to shop for crafts, with stalls selling traditional crafts from embroidered boots to handmade paper. As the day ends, come back to the hotel and sleep of the night.

Kick start the day with a delicious breakfast and get ready for a second day tour of Thimphu. You will visit the Takin reserve center, a large fenced enclosure in Motithang. Takin is the national animal of Bhutan (Budorcastaxicolor)which is believed to be made up of an ox, the antelope, a sheep, and a goat. It is rare and endemic to the eastern Himalayas. Visit Tashichhodzong. It is a fortress in the northern edge of Thimphu city. It has been the seat of the government since 1952 and presently houses the throne room and offices of the king, the secretariat and the ministries of finance.  Visit Simply Bhutan where the guests will be briefed about Bhutan, its rich culture and tradition. If guests get time then they can visit the Centenary Vegetables Market which is two stored building fully equipped with colorful and fresh scented verities of vegetables.

Our agent’s representative will then take you to ChangangkhaLhakhang, it is a fortress-like temple and monastic school. Visit National Textile Museum and the Folk Heritage Museum others places the guest wants to visit.

After the mesmerizing day of sightseeing, you will be driven back to Paro. So that you get to enjoy the scenic beauty and some of the historical monuments that Paro has to offer depending on the time availability. As you reach Paro, check-in to the hotel and refresh. Then set out for National Museum of Bhutan, Ta Dzong, it used to be watch tower built to defend RinpungDzong during inter-valley wars of 17th century. Then visit RinpungDzong, built-in 1646 by ZhbadrungNgawangNamgyal, the spiritual ruler of Bhutan. It houses the monastic body of Paro. Then seeJangtsaDumtsegLhakhang, it’s a 15th-century Buddhist temple. 

Come back to your hotel and have a restful sleep.

After the breakfast, pack your luggage, and prepare to check out from the hotel. Our representative will escort you to the Paro International Airport from where you can board your flight back home. Your trip to Bhutan may have ended but the lovely memories you made will stay in your heart forever.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.

In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
